Ok guys, didn't see this topic when searching. I run a stick up into my fan, blades sheared off. Replacement part was around $20 shipped on Amazon. Fixing it wasn't straight forward, but after reading this, it will be easy for you. You will need 10mm, 12mm, philips screwdriver, hammer, punch or small Allen key, snap ring pliers.
1. Remove the go pedal.
2. Lift rubber mat and move over to brake pedal side.
3. Remove knob for hydraulic decent speed with philips.
4. Unbolt floor pan and pivot to access the fan.
5. Remove snap ring by u-joint on both ends of the shaft. The front one is accessible from under the tractor.
6. Use hammer to remove both spring pins, 1 on each end under the snap rings.
7. Slide shaft forward until the rear ujoint comes off the rear splined shaft. Now you can unbolt the 2 bolts holding the fan.
8. Put it back together in reverse order.
Things I learned. The 2 nuts for the fan are welded to flange, so trying to loosen them from under the tractor doesn't work. Lol lubricate splines, makes pushing shaft forward much easier. There's just not enough movement in the rear spline to do this swap, front spline needed for adequate clearance to remove the fan.
