LS G3033 Cranks but won't start.

I have checked the fuses, bled the fuel system, charged the battery, glow plug light on dash stays on the normal length of time (15 to 20 seconds).
Ran two weeks ago. What else can I check? Does diesel go bad like gasoline with age?

Any advice? Thanks

Depending on the "tier".. can u get to the injectors & bleed them there?? are u getting fuel AT the injectors?
Yes fuel goes bad but not in 2 weeks.. Now if it sat in there over a month or 2??

Takes a very long time for diesel to go bad. Not familiar with your motor but it should use a electric fuel shut off solenoid. The solenoid should be on the injection pump. When key is turned to ON your should hear a click. Use a voltmeter and see if power is making it to the solenoid when key is turned ON.

If power is present, slightly loosen one of the injector lines and crank the motor. When cranking the motor there should be fuel spray out around the fuel line. If you don't see any fuel then might be the solenoid,

The fuel didn't look gelled when I bled the filter. It is fairly old though.

Thanks AllDodge. Reading some other posts I was getting the same thought. When I bled the pump the manual said the fuel should bubble out when the key was on. I didn't really see it flowing out and don't recall hearing a solenoid click. Will check on that.

Diesel will gel if its real cold outside.

This means that you should have an electric lift pump, and if its not running, then check fuses and also see if the pump is running. Should be able to put your hand on it and feel some kind of vibration

More information might help diagnose your problem. There is no location in your profile to try and guess temperature. How old is the tractor ? How cold is it? How fast is the engine turning? Is it turning as fast as normal? IIRC, that machine is pre-tier 4. Does it make any white smoke or any smoke at all when trying to start?
If it was running just fine two weeks ago, but now it doesn’t even try to start...if it’s not gelled, then that sounds more electrical component related than fuel related to me. Maybe a corroded connection at the fuel shutoff solenoid or something.

I'm here in North GA. Temp in the 40's and 50's. Tractor is only a few years old, low hours. Engine cranking at normal speed. No smoke of any type. Haven't had a chance to check the fuel shutoff solenoid yet..been rainy here. Did have a rat's nest on top of engine ...traced all the lines, but didn't see anything chewed in the engine compartment or under dash. Did find a connector with no mate under the dash.

could be something like a safety
seat safety
lever position safety
brake safety
wire off somewhere in safety or solenoid circuit

little seat switch on my NH started to fail and did odd things including not letting it start and also caused crazy stuff with flashers
do you have a wiring diagram to follow
