LS (LG ) has been making tractors for lots of major brand folks for years (Mahindra, Montana, New Holland to name a few). I just signed on the dotted line for a LS P 7010 C for $35,500. That is 72 HP which is more than I needed but it was in stock and almost as cheap as the MF 1648 (34,800) that I was contemplating on the internet until I saw the tractor. I searched every dealer known to mankind and the LS brand offers more standard features and comfort for thousands less than the other brands. This one I got comes standard with 3 sets of remote rear hydraulic valves and the smaller ones seem to come standard with 2 and that is several hundred dollars extra on any other brand. It also appears to have the strongest hydraulic system on the market. My tractor weighs in at a little over 6600 pounds and lift capacity is over 6000 on the 3 PH and the FEL is over 3500. I was driving my brother in laws T2030 New Holland and the FEL seemed very weak on it as it would not breakout or lift a bucket full of wet clay from the pond we were digging out. MY old Yanmar will lift the rear wheels off the ground if you curl it under a heavy load. Feature for feature, I love the LS tractors and hope to report some good results here in the future as for durability and service.

I forgot to mention that I am still waiting for Kubota to give me a quote on a Grand L. I guess they sell too many tractors to worry with little details like that. I went by the local dealer twice and reminded him that I was still waiting on a quote and so far nothing. TOO bad, I may have bought one if he priced it right.

I have enjoyed my i3030 and believe that LS is the best value out there in a new tractor. The 4 cylinder diesel is very smooth. I also looked a the 3010 before deciding on the i3030. Depending on your method of payment, there may be some negotiation room on the quoted price (but there was a good rebate going at the time I bought mine so I can't say for sure). I don't know how difficult it is to remove and install FEL as I have never done it with this tractor. Good luck with whatever you decide.

shafshak, I have a McCormick CT36 made by LS/LG. I have had it a year and have not had the first problem, not even a leak. It pulls a double plow and disk harrow for a half acre garden and 6' bush hog. The loader is plenty powerful for my uses moving logs and limestone rock. I have the 12/12 transmission and I like it better than my hydro on my smaller lawn tractor, especially for bush hogging. I agree with others, I don't think you'll find more features for the dollar on any of the others, at least I didn't, and I looked over a year and test drove them all in my area before I finally bought.

how hard is it to remove front loader ?

I pulled the one on my S3010 off just to see and it's really easy. I just followed the instructions in the FEL users manual. I was careful to do it in the shade as I had heard of others having problems re-connecting the hoses if the FEL was left in the sun and heated up. Re-mounting was a little more difficult until I realized the importance of getting everything lined up properly, but it was easy after that. I think I could get it off and back on in less than 5 minutes with practice. I even took a few pic's of the FEL off with my cell camera.

Just got LS 3010 with 200 miles on meter. Previous owner has health problems said he couldn't do anything with it. Good looking tractor with minimal wear, all usual bells and whistles as mentioned by others in previous threads. But i have a problem! all hydraulics work but i can't get it to go forward or backwards. Can't tell if the clutch is working or not.

are you engaging the shuttle shifter on the steering wheel left side? this is your forward and reverse handle as well as neutral. Pics or video would help
