It appears that Land Pride has come out with a new series, and design of rotery cutters for 2011. The unit I am interested in is the RCF2060. They appear to be fairly heavy duty, using 10 ga. steel for construction.. Thicker than my present Woods BrushBull by .030.
I've now had two Woods cutters, and both have been what I consider to be, overly flexible where the gearbox mounts, causing the blades to tear up the deck at every opportunity.
The Adirondacks has no shortage of rocks.. It's said that if it were not for rocks, the Adirondacks would be in a valley... LOL
So, are these new cutters from LP out in dealers' hands yet? Has anyone seen one or have experience using one?
I wish that Land Pride made it easire to contact them to discuss the specifics of their designs. Befco, which is not commonly available in my area, is very interested in customer comments and thoughts, and all too happy to answer questions..
There is a new brush hog in my future. It will not be another Woods, as I consider the design to be lacking for HD usage... I like the look of the Pand Pride's specs, but I need to know more...
Any thoughts or help?
