I have a mf1528 it has 1 side ajustable lifting rod, other side is fixed, I was wandering if you could replace the fixed with the ajustable ? It does look like it could be done by just buying, the same one and installing it on the fixed side. I have found that lower links tend to drop down too low for my equipment. and maybe get a higher lift when needed. whats your opinon ?

thanks David

Hi David, I see what you are saying but, the only issue would be is there enough room for the toplink to clear all components without bind or without hitting yourself in the back (exaggeration  ) when at full lift?

I would try to locate one of the hand crank adj. links, then you can adjust one side with out getting off of the tractor.

Most have an extra set of mounting holes at the bottom of the upright. Check to see which set of holes your is in.
