experiencing my first lower lift arm seal leak. From what I've read seems like a very common problem. And what a pain to get the circlip out and press out the bearings besides the loss of fluid. Has anyone ever considered removing the rod that runs between both lower lift arms, cutting off then outer 6" of each end and welding them onto a piece of 1/4 or1/2" steel cut to fit the same size as the collar. With a good weld, would this do the same job? seems to me it would work without the chance of a seal leak reoccuring.or, does this rod have to have some flex.

If you don稚 use draft control your fix would work in theory at least.

Rick
From what you are saying , I guess you need that "flex or give" in Draft control mode. Is that why it is set up that way. Have seen other tractors with Draft control that have a fixed lower arm pin. I use Draft control very very little but it's nice to have if I need it.

As always thanks
