The last time I checked the oil level in the front drive axle was at 50 hours and it ran freely from the level hole. I haven't used the LS much since I got my Kubota B26 so I only have about 120 hours on it now. A day or so ago, I was putting some oil in my brother in law bushhog and thought why not check the LS. IT took 2 quarts of 80W-90 gear oil to make it run out of the level check hole. No leaks evident anywhere. I have no idea where the oil went but I will have to check again when I put some more hours on it.
I guess I better recheck the Kubota as it was also full when I checked (same time as when I checked the LS) and they claim to be notorious about getting low oil reading after setting a while.
