Lost my hydraulics?

My machine just stopped forward motion but the motor runs fine? I have no hydraulics including dump bed and loader..Pulled out my mechanics manual to see how to unlock the wheels to pull it off the road and it says to call bobcat ? Not so easy on a Sunday evening..The switch on the arm rest is fine? Of course I had a full load of 1 1/2" stone in the bucket to unload by hand.

Does your tc show any service codes? It sounds like a problem whth the tics system, but you say the lifr arm sensor works properly. If normal shutting off and restart doesnt reset, you might have some luck by removing a battery terminal to reset the computer. There may have been a momentary glitch in one of the many sensors and the computer may not be accepting sequence info from the tics. Also repeated movement of the forward-stop-reverse lever may fix.

what model do you have - is it a new d?

if it is a d did you smell any belt burning or hear any noise coming from right behind the cab in the region of the belt casting/cover that runs between the engine and rexroth hydraulic pump??? if yes then i may be able to help.

It is a D and I did not hear or smell anything but will check belt this morning

Spoke to the service manager Rick and he will send someone to pick it up tomorrow, all but the trucking is covered under warranty but he said he would fair with me,,will let you know when I know what is going on

It was the drivebelt..It had been whining a bit during warm up ? Hope the next one lasts more than 100hrs

this is a known issue on the d's. my dad is waiting on his new d after 3 bad belts in 10 hours. 3 different new castings all with the same result. bobcat is working on this issue currently. this is why i pay the higher price for a bobcat - i hope they figure it out soon. not sure how many are having problems but i suspect more than a few.

My problem is the idler bearings went? I had been hearing a squeak during warm up but it went away at work rpms..Bobcat is generously flying in a new bearing this morning so it will be back work soon.

Machine is on the way home, while it was in the shop Rick extended the tail gate handles and I look forward to not using a hammer as I have found to be the best method to open the gate when I have a load of gravel in the bed.
Impressed to have it back in just 3 days during the busy time of the year when everyone is getting ready for winter.
Bobcat just announced a recall on these idlers

which idler - is it part of the belt system inside the drive belt casting?

i have been impressed with bobcat other than at times slowww parts delivery.
