lost key to 2000 New Holland 1920

I lost my key to a 2000 new Holland 1920. My other keys to my older tractors don't cross over like they do with each other. Can I go to a dealer and just get a key or do I have to change out the ignition switch?

At this time (17:37 EDT) call a dealer on the west coast to find out, or wait till Monday. I know Kubota uses a standard for the small tractors.

All keys for Ford and New Holland compacts are the same from the late 1970's to about 1996, then a bunch of them STILL used the same key while different ones were used here & there.

At one time I had a ring of keys that fit every model Bobcat skid loader that there was, I worked for a dealer as a bobcat mechanic, it had three keys on it. I would not worry, your dealer will be able to take care of you.

I went to New Holland parts store and checked 3 different models, 1510, 1700 and 1920. They all three take the same key. I think they were part #9849079

I lost the key to my 3910 - went to the Ford dealer and they had plenty in stock since many years and models used the same key. If I remember correctly it was around $6 - an easy fix but rather scary if someone wanted to steal the tractor.
