A few weeks ago I busted my radiator and had to replace with a new one.
I'm bush hogging some really nasty stuff.... sapplings, briars well over 1" in diameter...this stuff hasn't been touched in years.
Anyway I'm getting it done. This evening noticed so really black leaves I'd spun up. Did I mention I'm going up and down a pretty steep hill? Anyway, hmm those black leaves really looked moist. Interesting. Then I touched the FEL and it flopped down.... Never seen that before... It's getting late and I need to get off the hill. I hit the 3pt lift and nothing happens. Hmmm. I pull the FEL lever and nothing happens... Geeez.
I then see what looks like oil specks on the front tire and I shut down the B7500. Now I'm upset.
I pull the hydro dipstick and nothing. Horse stuff! I put the tractor in neutral and roll backwards off the hill..... When I get in the yard I crawl off and hydro fluid is pouring from the bottom of the tractor. I check the two filters and they are fine, not sticks thru them. Horse stuff!
I go fetch a flash light and start pulling out sticks lodged in the chassis.... ahhhhhhh. There's a tube that's connected by a rubber hose and clamp and a stick had knocked them apart. Wheeeeeeeew.
Well, I guess this week is a good time to change both hydro filters and clean that screen thingy since the hydro is gone....
I'm about done hogging too.
