Need some help/ideas. Have a 4025, has 30 hrs run time. Giving me trouble AGAIN. At 12 hrs., had to replace 2 of the 3 fuel lines, leaking crimp connections. First fuel line I replaced it with a factory line from dealer. Second line I took the advice that several people on here suggested and went to the auto parts store, bought fuel line and hose clamps and replaced with that. Has been running okay up until yesterday. Went to my sons house a couple miles down the road. Right before I got to his place I noticed that the tractor was losing power, could hardly go up a SLIGHT incline, thought I was going to have it towed. Made it to sons house, was able to make a couple passes on his front yard and gave up, just no power, was running shredder at the time. Had him follow me back home, about 5 or 6 MPH@1500 to 1700RPM was all I could get out of it, this was with hand throttle wide open. Was acting like it was bogging down the whole way. Haven't done anything to it just yet, thought I would drop by here and see if anyone had any ideas where I should start. Also, when I would come to a stop with the tractor still running, the engine would be surging . Funny thing is, when I was trying to get it back to my place, when I came to an intersection and powered down to make the turn, as soon as I made the turn and straightened up and gave it fully power, it would run okay for about 1/4mile and start bogging down again. Did this all the way back to the house.
Any ideas/suggestions what to look for would be appreciated. Haven't done any filter changes as I've only got the 30 hrs on it. Not getting any gauge warning indicators either.
Hate to take it back to the dealer, $99/hr service charge is a little tough to handle for a relatively new tractor.
