I have a NH 1925 and a KK 5' bush hog. The keeper pin that holds the pin in to the toplink where it connects to the bush hog keeps coming out and getting lost.
I have not seen it actually "go" so not sure how it is doing it, I even bent the thing around in a circle and two of those came out.
I am thinking of trying one of the pins that has the circle lock that flips down over the pin and see if that style will stay in place. I am currently using the standard "hairpin" type pin in them.
Anyone else experienced this? The only thing I can think is that somehow that flex link is moving around in mowing enough that it is shearing those pins out of the top link pin, and I am probably paying attention to the front of the tractor if the bumps and humps are big enough to move that flex link that much.
Not sure if this makes sense or not, but any advice would be appreciated.
