Looking to confirm an ID and buy this model AC

A friend of mine is looking to identify a small Allis Chalmers. He gave me some photos of it, his grandfather had this tractor. The side of the tractor has the numbers "314" on it. He believes the tractor was probably made in 1973 or 1974. He knows nothing else about it.

From the looks of it is appears to be a gas powered LT, but I don't know anything about ACs from this time period.

Can someone help ID this tractor?
Can someone lead me to a possible place to find one of these (any condition)?

Looks like a Simplicity to me. My FIL has 2 older AC garden tractors, I am pretty certain they were made by Simplicity.

Just checked and yep it is a simplicity. go to simpletractors.com
Look under Allis Chalmers on the left they have the 314. Good ol K series Kohler....

It's an Allis, for sure. But it is NOT a Simplicity. From about 1968 -1972, Allis-Chalmers was under an FTC investigation/indictment for building a potential monopoly. (They had bought Simplicity in 1964.)

This tractor, made in 1970 or 1971, was actually made in an Allis-Chalmers plant in Lexington, SC. It uses a Simplicity transmission and cross-drive, but I think that's the only Simplicity components on it -- or at least of any consequence....

The other Allis-Chalmers labelled lawn and garden tractors were actually made by Simplicity in their Port Washington WI plant. These were not...

I used to have a 1/16th toy replica of this same tractor when I was a kid. Sorry, its lost and was probably broken anyway or I'd give it to you.
