Looking to buying a Chinese tractor. Advise please.

All,
I am planning on buying in few weeks (less than 5) a Chinese tractor. I am looking for 80-100 hp for my applications. Which engine/ brand should I buy and why? Any help would be greatly appreciated. After reading posts in this forum I am kind of leading toward LOVOL or YTO. Am I missing something?

Most of us in this section of the forum have 35 hp or less. This sounds like something you plan to make your livelihood off of. I am not familiar with either of the brands you mention. Are you in the US?

Yes, I am in the US. But the tractor will be used in Africa

Tractors break, how is the parts supply for either of these? Are there many in service in the area you plan to operate in? Be a shame when you need it for it to be setting for perhaps weeks waiting on a part...

agreed, look at what is available in the area you plan on using it. I have never heard of YTO, but i know LOVOL has a US presence and seems to be better on quality than some of the many chinese names over the years.

Agreed. I also noticed they are a bit more expensive than others Chinese tractors brands. Maybe their superior quality explains the price difference.

Lovol made the Farm Pro tractors for the US market....didn't they? Wasn't there some issues with getting parts?

I agreed with you, LOVOL and YTO the best on the Chinese market, but LOVOL is the same YTO - they produce in one manufacturing. My recommendation is - FOTON LOVOL / YTO Tractor, 120HP 4WD Tractor with Cabin, this tractor is very popular and has many good reviews.
