This is the last one the dealer has that is dual branded, giving a good deal. I have not had them show me yet how the 60 inch deck and loader remove. Hope its not too hard. Has anyone hooked a one or two bottom plow to one of these? I was wondering how it would do plowing, my soil sand. How big of a 3 point disc would this pick up and pull? I would only use these for the garden and a food plot here and there.

I purchased a King Kutter TG-48-XB-OK tiller. Works great in Florida's sandy soil.

I think you would get by with a 1 bottom plow, not 2. For other heavier implements, 48" should be the standard for the 2400.

How about a general area of $$$ ?

Can not say on the mower but the FEL is straight forward.
Easy to remove and attach.

IMHO (SC2450) if the soil is clear or not too packed up, the tractor will pull well but give it a little too much resistance and the little guy is on the light side and tends to spin easier than I would like.

With the BH in place I do not have a lot of trouble moving snow or piled things but when I try to pull the Box Blade with Stras down, I tend to have trouble with rooted soils and heavily packed stoney soil. If I attack a pile of stone or dirt/gravel with the box blade I do not have a problem.

All around great tractor for general use, light digging (small BH - low power), lifting (limited lift cap) and moving stuff.
If you need something to really dig in think a little larger TLB Pkg.

I hope this helps.

As stated eariler, the FEL is simple to remove - on level surfaces. Likewise the mower is simple. Follow the owner's manual the first time and no problems.
My 2400 did fine moving what little snow we got this year, and with the weight box on, it does well with stone and soil moving. I am pleased with my SC2400.

I have had the SC2400 for about a month now, it works great so far. Mowed with it last weekend and it does a great job.
