Looking @ New Holland Powerstar T4.65 vs T4.75 Cab MFWD - need advice

I am growing into a larger tractor and we just had the blessing of being able to attend the Sunbelt Ag Expo last week where we were able to examine pretty much everything that the tractor market has to offer. I like the New Holland Powerstar T4.65 cab mfwd that they had on display the most of everything in that size/category and the fact that you don't have DEF or regen like the competitors have. I was able to spec out both the T4.65 vs the T4.75 and it was about a $3,100.00 difference. The prices at msrp were roughly $62k vs $65k respectively. I have found that wctractor.com pricing online has the T4.75 with about an 18% discount from msrp. I am located between Atlanta,Ga and Macon,Ga and would like to know if anyone in this region knows of a dealer offering similar savings on these units and if they may have them in stock? I wish tractor manufacturers would do like vehicle manufacturers and have an online locator so that you could find units in stock in the ground! Your opinions and experiences with these tractor models are appreciated too.Thanks

I am looking for the right tractor as well. My question is what manufacture to buy from. I am strongly looking at the T4.75 as well. If you are going to buy " New Holland" I suggest going for the 4T.75. It is the same tractor as the t4.65. The T4.65 is just tuned down to be a 65 HP tractor. Over a liftime of a tractor (25 years), 3,100.00 is no money. Stepping up too the 75 HP makes a lot of differance on what you can pull behind you. Like a 12 ft bush hog.

That T4.75 is just a Case IH 75C, which I sell with cab/loader/4wd for around $50,000. If you are paying $65K for that tractor, you are seriously overpaying. I strongly suggest seeing a Case IH dealer. We have one on the yard, as most dealers do.

Franklin tractor in Cartersville Ga. has a couple t4.75 with different options. Price is high to mid 40's with front loader, 12x12 power shuttle. That's with the current rebates.

As a dealer why didn't you explain to him that website pricing is always at least 15% higher than actual price which would put it nearer your price?

My local NH dealer has many pages where they list every tractor for sale, what equipment is on the tractors and the prices. Makes it easy to get a handle on the different sizes before I go by to look.....

Because everyones website pricing is different and has no consistent percentage markup. How am I supposed to judge what another dealers website percent markup is?

Hmmmm.... Figured every dealer knew about website pricing being approximately 15% higher than the actual price of the product??? You didn't know that???

Assuming you didn't. You quote to him concerning selling him a red tractor was somewhere near 15% lower than the price he quoted off the Internet. No surprise there. Unless you didn't know that.
