2016 kubota l3901
Looking to possibly buy a workmaster 75 cab tractor. Just posted my kubota l3901 for sale. Just looking to see what workmaster 75 owners had to say about the tractors. They seem to be really nice and have great features. The 3901 has served me great but we recently moved tp a bigger place and I'd like a cab tractor with a little more hp. Thanks

I have the red version- also known as the Case 75A. Here痴 what I posted in the Case forum a couple weeks ago.

Finally got to do some mowing yesterday. Here are my thoughts on the 75A after about 3 hours of cutting- The cab is quiet. Even with the motor running at 2,000 rpm and the cutter turning, the a/c blower is the loudest thing you hear. And it's a good thing it's efficient. The cab has so much glass, it's a hot box without the A/C. Hope it never gives trouble.

The power shuttle is awesome. Most of my tractor use in the past has been traditional transmissions, along with some HST in compacts, but this is my favorite, at least for this use. Very smooth and perfectly placed controls. I used mid range 1 and 2 most of the time. I could have mowed with a faster ground speed, but this was the first time I've mowed this place, so I wanted to take it slow. Plus the grass (mostly fescue) was about 3' tall.

I mentioned the glass and said before the visibility is good- I'm still impressed, but the one place that's a little hard seeing is the outside edge of the front right tire. Due to the hydraulic connections for the loader, there's a narrow gap you have the look through to watch your track. Not bad, but when everything else is so openly visible, it's noticeably restrictive.

I mowed about 5 hours Saturday with it- still really enjoying the tractor. No regrets so far.

This post should have been before the one above- but tech isn稚 my strong suit.

Default Re: Farmall 75A vs 75C
I just took delivery of a 75A cabbed tractor w/ loader about 4 weeks ago. Most of my tractor work will be with a rotary cutter, and it's been too wet to start, so I've only put about 5 hours on it so far. I looked at the C and the A, and couldn't find any reason to spend more money on the C considering my use. In the short time I have on it already, the only things I'd improve if given a chance would be the speed of the loader, and the turning radius. It's a big tractor, and 4wd, so the turning radius was to be expected. I'm unfairly comparing it to most of the other tractors I've ever used which have either been smaller, or if similar sized, 2WD. Not a lot different than comparing trucks in that regards.

On the loader, I don't notice the up/down speed being slow as much as I notice the bucket dump/curl being slow. Again, it could be an unfair comparison as most of my previous loader experience is with backhoes.

Other than these two items, so far I really like everything else about it. I have the air ride seat and it is very comfortable. All the controls are well placed. Visibility is great. So much glass around the cab- it's easy to see everything.

I'm on a computer this morning, which I find so much easier to use than my phone for this website. Here's a pic from this weekend- I've done about 10 hours of rotary cutting with it this month. Since you're looking at the NH, ignore the color. Everything I've read says the Case and NH are built in the same plant, same options, same packages, just different color. I went with the Case over the NH due to a relationship with our local dealer.

Nice tractor! Thanks for the reply.

I'm also looking at the kubota m6060. A little less hp, but I've had such good luck with my 3901 it makes me want to stick with kubota. Decisions decisions

That Farmall 75 is a really nice little tractor. Theyre all nice tractors. Theres really no bad tractor. What enhances the experience is when things go wrong and you get great dealer service/parts support. All the brands in this thread have that.

What I had found in past purchases, was that Kubota was cheaper when the upgraded transmission was added. Usually Kubota was similar or just a Little bit more expensive with a hydraulic reverser transmission than a competitor with a dry clutch transmission.
Hydraulic reverser transmission is a sealed hydraulic unit with no clutch plate or related clutch parts to wear out. They are much preferred for lots of forward and reverse work, like loader work. Not really needed for constant forward work like mowing.
I wont buy a larger than 50HP tractor without a hydraulic reverser, especially used. If it’s new, at least you know theres zero clutch wear and your driving technique dictates how long the clutch will last, not the previous owner. But thats just me dealing with previous experiences
