Looking for Turf Wheels/Tires for 1070

So my new to me 1070 has R1 ag wheels and tires.

I'd like to find a set of turf wheels and/or tires with the eventual goal of putting R4 tires on them.

Anyone have an extra set of 1070 turf wheels?

Or is there a better way to do this that I am not aware of? Maybe a source for aftermarket wheels?

Rim sizes for turf, Ag, and R4's are different, IIRC. Some dealers you contact might have sets if they had to swap out tires for a customer.

Oh! I knew R1 and R4 wheel sizes were different, but I was under the impression you could get R4 tires for the turf wheels. I guess I will have to pay a visit to my JD dealer to see.

It's also my understanding that since my 1070 is MFWD, the rolling ratio between the front and rear R4 tires will have to match in order to avoid destroying anything in the driveline. I'm not quite sure how to figure that out yet, but I'll get there.

Funny, I have turfs on my 1070 and want to get a set of r1's because mine is only 2wd. If you were closer I would be tempted to trade, but I probably should keep the turfs anyway.

Btw... my turfs are 44x18-20, fronts are 27x8.5-15. I think the 4wd have the same size, but I could check my manual later if you want.

If you want to check your manual that would be great. I didn't get any manuals with my machine or it's attachments, although I did find one on ebay but it hasn't arrived yet.

I don't really want to trade, I want to buy a set of wheels to mount r4's on outright. Then I have the option of swapping back and forth depending on what I am doing.

This machine also does not have any weight added to the rear end and the tires are unfilled. It seems the JD weight kits are all NLA, so I need to figure out a way to do this without adding fluid to the rear tires.

Good idea. Unfortunately I don't think it will work for me because putting weight in that location would interfere with the backhoe mounting brackets.

Yeah I guess that's kind of confusing. It doesn't seem to mention the fronts on any of them.

I suppose I am still a bit mystified about how tractor tire sizes work. I am used to cars/trucks where let's say a 255/70R16 = Radial tire, 255MM wide with a 70% aspect ratio on a 16" rim.
These tractor sizes like 21.5L-16.1 don't make sense to me. It would seem like the 16.1 would be the rim size, but is there really such a thing at a 16.1" diameter wheel?

jdparts lists the front turf tires as 27/8.50-15 and the rear as either 44x18 or 21.5x16. The 21.5x16 shows as NLA. So yeah, I'm a bit confused.
