Looking for pictures of the optional turn signal kit for a JD 970

JD970, You can buy from John Deere the optional rear work lights that plug in to your wiring harness that turn on and off with your light switch. They are the same light kits I have on my 790.

Thanks DD! I have them on order. I am not expecting them to be very bright, if not, I will modify them and install an LED. In my opinion, I can't have too much light.

They are brighter than you think. I have used my tractor several times after dark and never thought I needed more light behind the tractor.

little advice, cars don't pay attention to turn signals on tractors, they look like flashers and the only thing they are thinking is how they can pass you

This makes sense. I will skip the turn signals and mount a rear view mirror. I run down the road with my hazard flashers on anyway, and now that I think about it, turn signals will not work when the hazard lights are on anyway.
