Looking for new rear tires for a Yanmar 1500

Original tires are finally shot so looking to replace them.

Has anyone had experience using 9.5/22 rear tires on the 1500?
According to Hoye, Tire Number Explanation, they claim this should work.
Most 9.5 inch tires recommend an 8 inch wheel while the 8.3 inch tire on the 1500 says a 7 inch wheel.
I'm not concerned about the ratio change as it is not a 4x4.

Also anyone have experience with BKT or Harvest King Tires?
The prices look pretty good.

Also where have you taken these in to be mounted???? Or did you do it yourself ?

Yanmar says 8.3/9.5. Any brand tire will last you 20 years, using common sense..

i agree with norm. Keeping the tractor out of direct sun will make them last that much longer as well. You wont wear the tread down on them they will rot first

There is a set used on the Knoxville, Tn craigslist. $200 for the set. Claims 75% tread left.

I have BKTs on the front of one tractor. They have been great. Get the highest ply rating you can. My dad had Harvest King on a front end loader. They are very good for the money. They did get alot of weather cracks though, likely more than Firestone but they were about half the price.

Found a place where I can get a set of Alliance for about $400 pluss mounting/tubes etc........

Still concerned about the width, most 9.5" tires show a recommended rim width of 8" while the 8.3" show 7".
Should this concern me or is the recommendations really leave that much wiggle room.
