anyone know of a somewhat reasonable priced new loader for a Kubota bx2200.so far it seems that they are all more expensive than loaders on new tractors.probably just wishing.

Koyoker(sp?) and Woods come to mind when looking at loaders that aren't made by Kubota. I'm not sure what you think one will cost but they aren't cheap.

I'm going by memory, and I may be off, but about 10 years ago when I added a loader to my BX, it was $3500 I think. Yours is a little unique in the fact that the joystick stays with the loader. It also might matter if your tractor is plumbed for a loader or not.

Sounds like it might be cheaper to trade for tractor with a loader?

I nearly doubled the cost of my used L2900 when adding an aftermarket loader painted orange with a bucket and a grapple - installed onsite... hasn't been delivered yet. Watching CL I could have found what I wanted and maybe saved a little on a bit better tractor, and had it sooner!

Edit: going on 4 months waiting for the loader - :confused3:

I believe it. I priced a Woods loader for my older Kubota L2550. Found three Woods loaders are compatible from $6800 to $7400. I'd need the whole kit as my tractor is not setup for a loader. That's as much or more than my tractor is worth!

Hopefully adding it to your (my!) tractor will bring that value up. I'm very happy with the L2900. It was near perfect when I got it in May/June and now it's got a lot of scratches in the paint, a broken tail light and is looking "Used" after going through some brush clearing and pulling buckthorn's  That broken tail light will cost $260.00 or so from Messicks.

New, or used, I would never buy a tractor without a loader.
It costs WAY TOO MUCH to retrofit a tractor loader, and it is never as good as a factory matched loader..
