Guys I'm new here so forgive me. I purchased an 03 John Deere 4410. It has been doing great for what I bought it for but I thought I might have a loader installed on it. the 430 loader is no longer in production but the dealer said they could install a 300R loader If I had the loader valve and joystick. Well I don't have a loader valve or joystick, why would I, it does not have a loader. He said that no dealer in the country has one. My question is, can I get an aftermarket valve and joystick somewhere that will work with that 300R loader and where would I find it?

I am surprised your dealer could not offer something as loader valves are fairly straight forward. The mounting bracket may be something that will need to be fabricated.

You are welcome. Look at other valves on that site if that one doesn't have the features your want.
You would think if they have loader valves on any other tractor on the lot they could source a valve. What happens if they sell a new tractor with loader and the valve needs replacement under warranty? I am surprised that a valve was their issue.

The valve shown is good, but I would recommend looking for one with similar specifications but with national Pipe Thread (NPT) connectors. It will be much easier and generally cheaper to find the correct sized connectors, hoses and adapters (if needed) in the US.

Bought the same one for my 66 model 1020 w/37 loader. Works fine. Just had to get the closed center plug to work. Don't be afraid to get it. Also got all the hoses for it from surpluscenter.com.
Doesn't John Deere use some proprietary fittings? I have seen companies that make or will assemble a joystick valve, hoses and fittings for the John Deere but they want your first born and the deed to your house to get it.

Deere uses ORFS O-ring Face Seal style fittings on there equipment. Yes these are usually more expensive than NPT or JIC but are also almost zero leak and getting more common.
Most loader valves will have SAE O-ring boss ports or BSPP threaded ports. Fittings to go from SAE to ORFS are pretty common.

When I search for that part number it brings up a single spool valve.
You are looking for a valve with 2 spools. One with float and joystick configured the way the valve will mount. You also will want one with a load check. It needs to be open center and somewhere around 8 to 10 GPM. You should also order a power beyond plug for the valve so you can feed the other valves on your tractor.
If you want to work more than one function at a time, like lift and curl then you will want a series/parallel type valve. It still will be slow doing multiple functions but doable.
Ask the dealer that is installing the loader where he is wanting to mount the valve and what orientation the joy stick needs to work.
I still think the dealer should help more.
