john deere 110 tlb SOLD YAHOO!!!!! M59 Kubota with front and rear remotes and thumb
I bought a JD 110 on line and got screwed. The loader mounting bolts had gotten loose and broke the bell housing and transcase. After long consideration i sold it at auction[problem disclosed to prospective buyers].
Now i am looking for something similar with maybe more hp. The jd had 42. Some of the things i really liked about the jd was the removable backhoe and 3 point hitch and the quick tach front bucket that allowed me to switch from bucket to forks. Are these options available from kubota? I am confused on their website. I use a gannon, rear blade, and would like to add a rock bucket. I liked the hst but that is not really a deal breaker. I have only been looking at Kubota for a couple days but the m59 is catching my eye.
Thanks in advance for any help you can send my way.

Fred

I considered the jd 110 but ended up with the L39. It had an edge in performance and smaller profile. That was 9 yrs ago and it has been better than expected over the years.

You can't go wrong with their construction series L26, L39, L45, L48, M59.

The M59 is a beast

To answer the OPs specific questions. The L45, L39, and M59 all have the skid steer quick attach, 3point rear/removable backhoe, and HST.

As far as I can tell, the L54 is the most comparable to the JD that you used to have. The M59 is a beast, but if you can afford it, go for it.

One thing to keep in mind, (and I may be wrong on this) is that the JD QA system is a JD proprietary system that is not compatible with skid steer QA. So if you have a favorite QA attachment it may not work.

While 3pt attachments should be all standard.

The 110TLB's have the SSQA, and not the JDQA setup on the loaders.

Did you mean L45 rather than L54?

Kubota and Yanmar now have the market cornered on this size/class machine since JD discontinued the 110's, I'd hoped they where going to offer a replacement, but I guess with the slow economy they don't see market for them.

I came very close to buying a 110. It was a very SEXY tractor and I didn't even pay attention to the Kubota L48. I spent an inordinate amount of time researching and testing that machine. The Hoe is excellent and the loader good as well. The rest of the machine is basically JUST a YELLOW 4000 series tractor! Oh, and they have those little protectors over the valve stems. lol In my opinion, this was a misrepresented product in a very cleverly worded brochure, making one think it was in the league of their "Construction" equipment.

It IS a beautiful and capable machine within it's limitations. It is NOT a piece of construction equipment. Again, IMO.
