Hi, just was looking for info, pros/cons on this tractor, also price info for this unit as well. What kind of attachments do you have and use? I'm looking at an FEL, MMM and rear blade.

Thanks

KC

I bought a CK20HST with loader, Backhoe and boxblade in January for $16,681.00 plus Florida sales tax. Regional differences in pricing may cause your prices to be higher.
As far as pros and cons, if you do a search in "all forums" for about the last 6 months, you'll find plenty of praise for this little beast of a tractor. I don't have any real cons, just small things, like on the HST reservoir I'd rather have a sight glass than a dipstick. I have had no warranty issues with the tractor other than a sticking HST pedal that when sprayed with PB Blaster or WD40 does not occur, so it's a non-issue.
If you check out my photo albums, you'll see just a small small portion of the jobs I've been doing with my CK20. I brush hog, level dirt, rake roots, pull trees, dig trees and stumps, and a host of other tasks with this tractor and RARELY feel that I need a bigger unit. If you ever decide you want a backhoe, however, you can't use it in conjunction with a MMM unless you were to change out the mounting hardware, a big pain. I don't have any desire for a MMM, too many trees and obstacles to bother. I use a riding mower.
I have a brush hog, toothbar, landscape rake, box blade, boom pole and pallet forks and will be getting a tiller and post hole digger in the future, along with some others if I'm lucky!!
I hope this give you some information you can use. John

Can't comment on the BX, but the ck20 outweighs the MF (Iseki) by 600# and has larger tires. Those factors alone let it use it's HP to greater advantage. Too many of these sub-CUTs have too much HP for their weight...the numbers look good, but they will turn tires long from lack of traction long before they run out of power.
I suspect you will find the ck20 has a similar weight advantage over the BX too.

This would not be comparing apples to apples as the CK20 is a compact tractor, not sub compact. I know there are a lot of people using the BX just fine and getting a lot of work done, but for my money, it was just too small. Smaller rear tires, wheelbase, etc. The CK20, without the loader and backhoe, weighs about 400# more than the BX which will allow better use of the available HP. The HP is measured at 2600 RPM on the Kioti whereas you have to go about 3500 RPM (not sure exactly) to get the rated 23 HP for the BX. The 3pt lift capacity is much higher on the Kioti allowing for bigger implements, and the hitch will take all standard implements whereas the Kubota won't fit some implements. The Kioti has an absolute rather than 1/4 inching hitch which makes your height setting more accurate.
The loader control for the Kioti is, for me, much better ergonomically, being just to one's right instead of up and to the right.
I didn't compare the BX23, but the BX22 when I was looking, and for around $16K for the BX, and $16,681 for my TLB and boxblade, the Kioti was a lot more tractor for the money.
As I said, there are plenty of people who are very happy with the Kubota, but to me, I like the larger framed Kioti and all it entails much better. John
EDIT: I fogot the work comparisons:
Neither will be good for more than light ploughing at this HP and weight.
Either will be pretty good for mowing.
The Kioti, with its heavier weight, may be better for backhoe and loader work, as the backhoe will certainly do some pulling/pushing on the tractor.
I've pulled trees with my CK20 that I doubt the BX would be able to do due to lower weight.
I hope this helps and remember, it's all just my observations. John
EDIT: Just occurred to me another thing:
The clearance under the CK20 is almost double than the BX and maybe the Massey as well. I didn't ever look at the SCUT Massey, but pretty much all said about the BX will be similar. Apples to apples dust to dust /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif is a better comparison. John
