Looking for good John Deere dealer east coast

Hi folks.
I'm looking for a good John Deere dealer on the east coast, preferably within a few 100 miles of a shipping port.
One that can build a fully loaded XUV850D and carefully put it in a crate for export to Ireland.
Any recommendations?

I just purchased an XUV 620i last week from Palmetto Lawn & Leisure in Columbia, SC. That is only about 2 hours from the port in Charleston, SC. Or you could try Sparrow & Kennedy John Deere in Moncks Corner, SC. They are only about 45 minutes from Charleston, SC. I talked with them before buying mine but decided to buy from Palmetto since they were much closer to my home. Both dealerships handle mostly smaller tractors and yard equipment, they are not large Ag dealers and both had Gators in stock when I talked with them. Let me know if you have any questions.

I am sure their dealer agreements prohibit them from exporting new equipment.

The "agreement" only applies when supplying a machine into another dealers area that the dealer there could supply, which is not the case in this matter as the machine is not on sale here. I've also checked this out with John Deere Europe and they say they will honour the warranty provided the machine is being imported by an individual, that's me, for personal use, which is the case, and not a business.

I would like to be able to talk to a few competent JD dealers that are familiar with Gators, particularly the XUV and familiar with installing options on the model. I can arrange from this side for it to be picked up at their premises.

So c'mon guys, how about a few JD dealer names that you would personally recommend? Or do I have to ring around myself?

I have not heard of many dealers that like to ship. The only one that I know of, is Mutton and I think they are in Indiana. Did you ever talk to them? JC

We do a great amount of shipping both out of state and out of country...a few of our stores are right next to ports...shoot me an e-mail and we can get things rolling, thanks!

However, a very strange thing occurred over the weekend.
A guy I had working on the farm told me about an advert in the local buy and sell.
I rang it up and it turns out a fella had returned from Pennsylvania to Donegal,
and guess what he brought with him, 2 850D XUV Gators, one for his father and one to sell.
I visited him last night and clinched the deal.
Going to collect this evening.
The spec is quite basic, a cab is fitted with the soft doors and a bed lifter.
However that can be resolved.
Will get back to y'all with progress and thanks to date.

And, gamble77, while the 850D issue is resolved, I will bear you in mind for another plan I am working on.
