looking for Black or Blue implements for NH TC24D

Hey all. I just bought (haven't recieved yet) a New Holland TC24D, and I am now looking for implements. I need a rear blade, a landscape rake, and a box scraper. LAGeorge on this board has a black Gearmore box blade, 54", that looks perfect, but I am having a hard time getting one in the Seattle area. Corriher has great NH blue ones, but freight would kill me. I don't really want to settle for a yellow Rankin or Woods unless I have to. Color shouldn't be such a big deal, but right now, after spending 20,000 on the TC24D TLB package, it is /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

My questions: does anybody know where I could get either blue or black implements in the Seattle area? I am willing to drive and pick them up in Oregon or Idaho. Also, any opinions out there on the maximum sizes of these three for the TC24D? I am thinking a 54" box blade, a 60" tilt & offset rear blade, and a 72" landscape rake w/o wheels. Thanks.

The Midwest Gray is a "dark" gray and looks good on a TC Boomer.
The dealer closest to you seems to be in Iowa though /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I just bought a Rake and Box Blade from Corriher (Manufactured by Midwest Equipment) Here is the Corriher Web site: Corriher

I believe I have seen some Woods implements in NH Blue! I have a Corriher (Midwesst) box blade. It is a well built unit.

As already mentioned, Corriher sells blue implements. Many are made by Midwest, and I have purchased from them. The Midwest equipment is very well made and very well designed, the blue matches NH. Also, Woods has some implements that are NH blue. And I have had good success repainting old implements.

Don't forget, NH makes implements!

I own the Corriher/Midwest 60" tilt/swivel/offset rear blade. It is heavy and well designed, all adjustments can be made without tools. By the way, Corriher is a sponsor of TBN.

www.solexcorp.com is now distributing Midwest implements to dealers on the west coast. They have a couple of truckloads out there now.

Thanks everybody. I have already looked at both Corriher and Midwest. They do have some great stuff, but as I said, the freight would eat me alive. I was hoping to find a retailer in the Pacific Northwest for good quality black, blue, or grey implements. I know paint is cheap, but I have gone that route before, and it is never as good or as sturdy as geeting it done at the factory.

Midwest will deal with me through Solex, but I will have to either drive to Sacramento or pay freight, which will add about $200 per implement average.

Any other ideas? Thanks again.

Did you contact the manufactures and ask for a list of dealers in your area?

I recall seeing an ad for a guy in WA (something-Valley) that carried First Choice stuff. They, like Midwest and Corriher powder coat in popular colors. But, they are located in NC.

Best bet if you are stuck on color is to go back to NH. If your local guy doesn't have what you want, there are at least 20 dealers from Spokane to Seattle to Portland. I'm sure one of them would be willing to help. Go to the NH site.
