When I wasn't looking for one, I used to see them all the time on eBay for $229.00. Lately, I have wanted one, but haven't been able to locate them. Does anyone know where I can get a generic orange ABS molded plastic sunshade for my B7510? I don't want the Kubota© brand because they are $$$.

I had a B7500 and sold it and bought a B3030HSDC. A real nice sunshade with air conditioning to boot!

Cool. Anyone else?

I don't know how much the Kubota one is or how much you want to spend, but I got my cab from Sims Cab Depot and it is a real nice unit with a very nice rugged looking curved plastic roof. You can get just that canopy top but it is $499. It is a real nice unit if that price is in the range you are looking for.

Just paid $325 for an orange easy attach name brand one for my new L3240 from Barlow Tractor sales, Somerset, Ky.

Try Coastal Tractor in Ct. He goes by the screen name ob1kubota. Tony is his name, I think. He had them on ebay for about $325. With shipping under $400

What you may be looking for is the Tuff Top canopy. I just bought one. Very nice but I think overpriced a little. Bought it on eBay fom Delprat Tractor. Check out www.tufftop.net/index I paid 315 and change. This isn't the molded type. It is made out of the stuff the plastic barrels you see on the highway are made from. Also the attachment brackets give you room to mount lights if you want. Also folds down or removes easily.

I have the Kubota one but not sure I would do it again with plastic. At low engine speeds it has a low frequency resonance that is very irritating and it traps sound waves and sends them right back to your ears. My machine was much quieter to operate before installing the canopy. Reengineering it with sound absorbing foam is needed but I guess I'll get to that after a repair the big split in the corner where I've banged against trees. Funny how I haven't hit a tree since it split the first week I had it. The OEM Kubota does protect well from rain/sun however.

I like the look of this (see attachment) and it's insulated for heat and sound and the design probably does not trap sound waves but allows them to exit. Wish I knew who built it, looks like a Wells but I don't think it is because it looks nicer with rounded edges rather than the abrupt "metal break" bends on the Wells. Guess I could build my own and use the OEM brackets. Google metal tractor canopy and you'll see what I mean.
