Looking for a TC21/24 west of Chicago

So I wanted to compare the NH offerings with the JD
4110 that I like, but even though there are several NH
dealers within 30 miles, none have any Class I boomers
to look at. The case dealer doesn't carry any of the Case
equivalents either. They have sub-compacts and Class II
boomers, but not Class I. They have no plans to keep
any on the lot either, though they would be glad to order
one for me.

This is frusterating. Anyone in the area know of a dealer
around Northeastern Illinois who has a better selection?
I live west of Chicago.

Try contact DeJong equipement in Beecher, IL. They typically have one or two Class I boomers on their lot. Beecher is a far southen suburb, on Illinois 1, but easy to get to (294 to 80-90/94 to 394 south, 394 ends and becomes 1) the dealership is about 15 minutes drive south of 90/94, most of that drive is 4 lane divided highway, the last couple miles are 2 lane highway. They are located right on the main road (Illinois 1) in Beecher.

Hard to call Beecher a suburb of Chicago. Looks like an hour
and a half from my house. I was hoping for something a little
closer (or west so the drive would be a little less hectic and
more rural), but I will try them if I can't get closer. Thanks
for the tip.

Cliff. . . to give you a little bit of a time-travel reference, I live 8 miles south east of Beecher on the Indiana-Illinois state line and it takes me about 45 minutes to get from my house to Chinatown in Chicago, about 1 hour to get to the Field Museum or Marshall Field's State St.

OK, I finally got back to looking at tractors and called them. They
don't have Class Is either. Very frusterating.

I am not sure how far west of Chicago but I drove by Peabudy's North which is on US 20 west of Rockford. I think it is in Pecatonica. I know a week ago they had a new Class I and a new Class II tractor on the lot. This might me a little too far west.

Well, if you're willing to look around Rockford, maybe you're willing to go up just a little farther on I-90/39. Just east of Janesville, on County A in Richmond is I.G. Hall. They are the closest NH dealer to Janesville. I drove past there this last Sunday and I saw at least a couple of Class I's sitting on their lot. I couldn't tell which ones they were, and I didn't stop. Their phone number is (608) 752-1636
