I am currently looking for a sturdy container that can be attached to a faucet so that when I water my plants, liquid fertilizer is mixed and siphoned off at regular intervals. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks everyone!

Are you talking about a few house plants or talking about an acre of plants? I use an IBC tote to collect rain water but transfer water (via. a 2" fire-hose) to a 55 gallon drum that fits nicely in my FEL bucket that has a garden hose attached to the drum so I can water my trees...

Also, "...attached to a faucet...", I assume using a garden hose can be used?

I have a fertilizer injector for my drip system. Similar to this...

But it's meant to be used at lower pressures and flow.

Are you looking for a tank to put fertilizer solution in or a device to inject the fertilizer into the water? Mazzei makes good injectors, they have a calculator on their website to figure out which one will work best for you. There are a lot of similar looking ones on Amazon but they do not work as well as genuine Mazzei injectors. I use a couple of them in my greenhouse setup and use five gallon plastic buckets for the fertilizer concentrate. I have found that black buckets work best to prevent algae from growing in the solution.

First thing you need to do is make sure you have a functioning backflow preventer when connecting a hose to any chemical source.
Can't stress this enough. You need some form of a positive backflow device. Fertilizers are good for plants, and bad for humans.

That said, you have a lot of options depending on how much water you are treating. Rainbird makes them for small sprinkler and drip irrigation systems, that work off of Venturi suction. They make electric injection pumps for large pivot systems, and water driven pumps for other systems which don't have power available. There are injection pumps which run on 24V, for installation in the sprinkler control box, which run when certain valves are opened by the timer clock.
