For Christmas in 2000, we got our (then 4 1/2 year old) son a toy robot. It was the Emiglio by GP Toys. It turned out to be a piece of junk and now it's in the trash. Our son will be 6 1/2 by Christmas of this year and the search is on for a replacement. I'm looking for something that has tracks so it can go on carpet and other rougher surfaces, such as grass. KB Toys has one that looks about right, Buster the Robot (<A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.kbtoys.com/genProduct.html?PID=1043448&ctid=17&ls=default>http://www.kbtoys.com/genProduct.html?PID=1043448&ctid=17&ls=default</A>), but it's not wireless. Does anybody have any suggestions for a toy robot that works with a wireless remote and can move forward, reverse, turn left or right, and a few other features?

Danny,

Here's a link <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.sharperimage.com/robots1/>Toy Robots</A> that came up when I searched for "Toy Robots".

Good luck. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

parallax www.parallax.com has some nice robot kits along with a nice control computer to build you own.
