Hi All. I have been looking around on this site and have found a lot of useful info.

I have looked at several of the posting for prices on the 1528 and I went to my local dealer today to see if they had anything. He did not have the tractor but said he could get one and quoted me $21,1xx. I about fell over when he told me that.

I see that some of you are dealers. I would be interested in getting some quotes from you. I am in Indiana, just southeast of Indy and would be willing to drive a state or possibly two for the right price. I am looking at the 72mo financing.

This is what I want:
MF 1528
Hydro tranny
FEL w/ 54" bucket
R4 tires
And possibly a 60" mmm

You can PM if you feel more comfortable than posting your price.

Thanks for your time.
Jason

Well, I almost fell over just reading it!! About a month ago I paid $25,088.00 for a 2009 model 1531 hydro w/FEL & backhoe. I just checked my receipt and it shows that I paid $18,333.00 for tractor and loader and an additional $6,755.00 for the hoe. The price the dealer had quoted me for a 1528 was about $17,725.00 or thereabouts. That's one of the reasons I went for the 1531...because there was only six hundred bucks separating the two models and the 1531 had more overall HP and more PTO HP...plus some other extras like telescopic links. But...my point is the 1528 was less than $17,800.00.

I thought Indiana was a good place to buy. Check on ebay using a search for "1531 Massey" and in Logansport, Indiana there's a business called W Farms selling a brand new 1531 Massey TLB for $23,900.00. That's a better deal than I got. Now, I realize you don't want a 1531 but if this guy's close by why not call and see what kind of a deal he may have on a 1528? Jus' my two cents...

I've been looking and pricing and close to getting a 1529 or 1531. I believe that the MMM adds considerable cost, especially when you add the mid PTO. Maybe this is not an add on the 1528, but it is for the 1529.

While I am getting a Massey, you may want to look at Kubota if a MMM is what you want, or consider a rear mount mower for alot less $$.

yes, I think he said the mmm was about 2400. That sounds very high to me. I have a Snapper ZTR but my thought was I would trade it in when I bought the tractor. I just can't seem to justify the cost of the tractor if I am only using the fel every so often. That was why I was checking into the mower too.

I too was looking for a MF 1528, the local dealer quoted 16.5K with loader.
New Bocat/Kioti 27HP CT225 with loader (stronger loader) is ~11K

The Bobcat/kioti CT122 with loader is ~10K and prob a better mowing machine as it has a belly mower option.

I was between the Kioti and MF line up, but the MF was an easy 5K more for the same spec tractor.
