Kubota L3130 DT FEL
I am looking to replace my old Ford 2000 3cyl gas that has given me 25 years of dependable service. I like the L3130 DT and the dealer gave me the following out the door delivered price:

L3130DT-F FST Trans, R4 Tires filled, LA723 Loader with 72" Skid Steer bucket $16,500 cash

Should I tell him to deliver the unit or continue shopping?

Here's a good guide that Bill G from TX posted on a site last night that I was reading. Good gouge, good guide, but remember it's just a guide. You can get an idea of what's costing what and the dealers pricing. Also remember, you should be able to get stuff listed in the guide at a cheaper price with a little negotiation:)

Contract Specifications - {contract item}

Just scroll down to find what you are looking for.

Wish I could help more, but I don't have a loader...don't know what they cost other than what's in the guide in the above link.

ps. Welcome to TBN. These guys are really helpful and will help you spend ALL your money ;)

That sounds like an excellent price. I paid $18,000 out the door for my L3130 DT with only the LA513 loader, R4's filled, and 5' Woods Box Blade. If it's what you want, I'd say have it delivered.

I am a newby at tractors. I just bought a L3130, 66 inch FEL, Ag tires filled, DT transmission, for $16,400. If you like the feel of it, do not hesitate over a few bucks. In the long run, your happiness will count.

I may be wrong (most likely am)but doesn't the "F" in L3130DT-"F" stand for 2 wheel drive?

Or is it FST?

Sorry about the "F". Tractor is 4FD. Dealer mentioned that the F was folding ROPS. I really don't know.

Thanks for your input about the price range. It appears to be in the ballpark and the unit seems to be of acceptable quality. I am buying Kubota because my Dad has had such good service with his 1983 unit.

Be easy on us new Kubota lookers. We might add or delete a letter here and there but we can recognize quality when we see it.
