Hello all, I'm looking at upgrading from my Massey Ferguson GC2300 to a larger tractor. I love the GC but I really want to get a grapple and rear remote and putting a lot of money into the little GC doesn't seem like the best choice. I see a lot of videos on the Kubota YouTube, so I feel pretty confident that it's a good tractor. I don't see nearly as many from 1825e owners so I am hoping someone here might have some personal experience with one.

I will primarily use the tractor working in the yard around my house. I live on 6 acres, and I'm always using my loader on my GC. I have a Ferris zero turn, so I won't be mowing with the new tractor. I might get a tiller someday, other than that I don't think I'll do any other PTO work. I do use a box blade, small 5 ft disk harrow, and a landscape rake.

I have also looked at the new Summit tractor and liked it a lot, but I'm too nervous to purchase from such a new company. I also looked at the New Holland but it really didn't seem like it was in the same league as the MF or Kubota. The NH dealer is also a Bobcat dealer, they didn't have the 25hp model, but the larger Bobcat looked pretty nice. I didn't get to try it out because the battery was dead.

If anyone would like to chime in with their personal experience it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

BTW, I'm partial to Massey but I'm open to other brands. Here's my current fleet :)

Nothing wrong with the 1825e tractor. Personally, I really really like the 1835m but, I’m assuming you wish to stay away from the emissions crap?

You can’t go wrong with either the MF or Kubota (but for the Kubota..I’d recommend the L2501).

That's a complete toss up both great machines MF Iseki engines as good as Kubota IMO. It would come down to which color you like better and which dealer seems better.

I did get a quote for the L2501, they quoted roughly 5k more than the 1825e. I don't think it's worth that much more to me.

That’s a bit steep. I’d probably be leaning 1825e.

I would seriously consider the Kioti CK 2610 or Mahindra 1626 if you have dealers in your area.

Why? What’s wrong with the MF 1825e?

I was reading some people were having problems with Kioti and getting parts. That made me a little nervous. I did see there is a dealer close to me but they aren't open on weekends so that makes it hard for me to go check them out. I have not looked at Mahindra, but there is a dealer not too far.

Depends on your Dealer. Before I bought my CX2510HST. the Kubota LX2610 was on top of my list.

I called the Kubota Dealer and was actually gonna make a deal but -- They couldn't get loaders for them. The logjam was on the American side, not in Japan. They make a lot of their attachments in the US. Georgia?

The CK2610 is Kioti's answer to the Kubota L2501. IMO, both are rough, basic machines. Very basic. Very rough. The LX2601 and the CX2510, while smaller and less capable than their respective 'Big Brothers' are more refined, IMHO. The CX and CK both have the same engine. The LX is smaller than the L2501 by quite a bit. It's even smaller than the CX2510 HST.

I bought mine from a Farm Depot in Michigan. Pretty big Dealership, I believe. Don't go in for buying a tractor from a place that primarily sells lawn mowers. I didn't. I wouldn't. No way.

If you're not gonna consider the CX2510( your choice, your money, your decision) then I would give more weight to the LX2610. It is one of Kubota's newest designs, newest machines.

Pretty sure they come with SSQA. Whatever you buy, make sure it has the SSQA. Otherwise, keep looking. The SSQA is indispensable, IMHO.

First I have heard of it being Kioti specific. I know everyone was supposedly having issues at one point. I needed a couple small parts on my 1626 at 900 and 1030 hours. After a couple phone calls, I was able to locate bother parts and had them in a couple of days.
