looking at a Dixon ztr
Hello Everyone,

Just bought a new(old) house and sold my old mowers and tractor with the last one. On a fairly conservative budget at the moment, however, I am a machinist/programmer in a steel factory and have the ability to fabricate custom parts if I need to get an older machine running properly.

Just wanted to say Hi and have been looking at inexpensive Dixon ZTR mowers to get running soon before things green up. Found good prices on some that need some work, but wondering if anyone has other recommendations or thinks I may be on the right track with Dixon.

Thanks,
Javadwc

Java, I have owned a Dixon ZTR 60" for a couple of years now. I bought it used for about $2500. I love this mower. It is rugged and reliable. I make sure I change the oil, fuel and air filters at least once a season (about 40 hours) and I change the hydro oil and filters every other season. I don't know about the newer models but mine is about 5 old and cuts great.

Regards,
