I'm in the market for a new mower for my property.
I found a 2011 commercial S60 with 450 hours on it. Looks to be in good shape, well maintained. It has a 24 hp Kohler command professional series in it.
I'm seriously considering it but I'd like to know a couple of things before I pull the trigger.
Firstly which hydros are in the commercial model vs the residential? Is it the 2800 or the 3100 series?
Hows the steering effort required to steer this mower? I have a i1046 and that thing makes my arms sore as the steering is super stiff.
Lastly how's the ride?
Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of these mowers? Are they reliable or are they commercial in name only? I'dIke a mower that will last at least 15 years. I've never seen one or run one so I'd like to hear more about them.
