I like it for the most part, very clean fit and finish to it. Only issue I have to deal with is the joy stick valve probably needs replacing or O ring replaced. The loader cycle is slow r/t dumping.....just creeps. The load cycle of it is crisp and quick. Of course need some weight in the rear of the tractor for better traction. Mine has a 12x12 shuttle trans but the the low range is so low that, no kidding I could put it in low range 1st gear and throttle up to 2k rpm then get off the tractor go in and get a cup of coffee, then come back and it maybe would have moved 10ft. Per the book mine is a 43hp/100lb torque @3k rpm.....but I doubt that is correct because of the several previous tractors I have owned in the HP range. The turbo spools alittle slow for my liking. I really think it is a very high quality tractor with several features I don't need and looks like expensive options on other brands. But......I should have bought a bigger tractor and regret that I passed on a new Kubota M6800 w/121hrs on it. Just need/WANT a bigger tractor. I thought about ordering the 50HP SAME Solaris version and more than likely would fill my want/need better. I personally believe that while on paper there is a small difference in HP from 43 to 50ish hp area there is a big difference in seat of the pants power feel. You get up around 46hp and above and its a different work/power experience. I am tinking with intake and exhaust things to bump the engine output but in the end I already know I am going to eventually get a UT in the 55-85hp range. I like European tractors and owned a zetor before this. I lived in Europe for a while and remember talking to people who owned different EU brands. They build good quality stuff.....for the most part. I got a great deal on my SAME but for me a tractor is a tool nothing more and if a tool isn't filling my need I get a different tool.
ZJ: Spent some time in the Balkans in the early 90s under blue paint....enough said. I had a more pleasant time there in the mid 80's while I was living in Germany and took a trip there. I enjoyed the Roman Ruins and coastal resort areas of Hrvatska. I really liked Dubrovnik with its old stone forts and towers of Minceta.
