Long Land Trac 470DTC

I am the unfortunate owner of a Long Land Trac 470DTC. To be truthful, I bought the tractor new in 2000. It has had limited use but has given good service. I have had only one mechanical problem with the tractor or the attached loader and back hoe I purchased with it. The tractor fuel tank developed a leak from a stress break where the fuel tank level device is attached to the tank. I couldn't buy a replacement tank. I repaired the existing tank with a sealer made for fuel tank repair. The Loader is Long Agribusiness, The back hoe is Great Bend. They have given no trouble. As stated, one mechanical problem. However, I have had many electrical problems with the tractor. They began about the time LG gave up the tractor business. I couldn't get replace parts. I've nursed it along until now. The tractor began to blow a fuse and shut down. It did this only after the tractor has been running long enough to get at hot operating temperature or when the tractor bucket was loaded heavly and moved a bit too quick. Once it begins, the tractor cannot be operated unless the stop solenoid in disconnected. I could replace the fuse, remove the wire on the stop solenoid, then remove the fuse and the tractor operated fine. I decided it was time to repair it this week. The dash or control panel is plastic and I believe beyond repair. The skirt just below the control panel is also plastic. I've repaired stress cracks and breaks until it is also beyond further repair. I haven't found the short circuit I assume is causing the fuse to blow. I can't find any part for the dash or skirt or circuit board. Can any one provide any direction that might help me? I will appreciate any advice on how to find and repair the electrical fault and how to secure some parts. I think I may have to build the parts myself. I know buyer beware. I should have been more critical when I made the purchase. It pays to know and cost to learn. I've paid dearly for this lesson.
