I recently "inherited" a Long Agribusiness LGT 680 diesel tractor, and I'm in a bit over my head. The previous owner left it outside in the weather and did not take very good care of it. I have had a new battery and some electrical work done on the tractor, and it was working great for a while. This weekend when I went out to use it, I went to turn the starter switch and the lever snapped right off. I started it with a wrench (shown in this video:
) in order to move it back into the barn, and ordered a new starter switch off Amazon (Amazon.com: Ignition Switch TX10954 Fits Long Tractor 2360DTC 460DT 510DT Universal Tractor 1033 320 White Oliver Tractor : Automotive). When I took the starter switch off, I made sure I took pictures and videos of where all the cables were connected. The replacement starter switch came in today, and I hooked it up. When I try to start the tractor now, it cranks but will not turn over. I even tried the wrench method again, and it didn't work. I'm not very mechanically inclined, so I'm not sure what the issue is. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you all.
