Long 460 lost clutch and brakes

Got a question
Driving the tractor and the seeder caught a fence post. At that time I pushed down on the clutch and there was nothing, Pressed down on Brake, and there was nothing so pull shut off lever.

I can depress the clutch with my hand and it does not have brakes. Never had this problem before. I can start it in neutral and it runs fine. Press on clutch nothing, try to put it in gear and it grind.

Any idea what this might be

Is there a lever that allows you to disengage the PTO and the clutch. I know there is a clutch for the PTO that you can engage while you are driving. but wondering if there was one that would disengage the clutch for the gears

Nope, PTO is a 3- position lever - middle is neutral (disengaged) one way is 540 rpm, other way is "ground speed", never used it but would guess it's dependent on travel speed. Mine's too far away (and it's too crappy outside) to check, don't recall which direction is which on the lever.

Sounds like you may have lost more than one linkage underneath, seems odd that would happen at the same time. Typically if the throwout bearing comes out of its fork you can't disengage the clutch - I would think this would also make the clutch pedal "soft", since most of the resistance is the throwout bearing pressing on the clutch "fingers"...
