Good evening. I will be parking my 1952 8N Ford at an off-site location for some time and would like to replace the fuel cap with a locking type for security reasons. If known, please identify a locking type cap that will fit this tractor. Thanks.

They can just take a line loose, or cut it and get your fuel. But I'd be more worried about them putting junk in the tank. Put a hasp on it and lock it so you can't get to the fuel cap if that worried about it. Used to be that kids were a concern, now they are glued to a phone or game somewhere.

Thanks. Sand in the tank is the biggest concern.

Thanks for the replies and suggestions. I was able to identify and purchase a Briggs & Stratton Locking Cap Model XO-1906 that would fit the tank inlet for the 8N Ford.
