Hello all -

Looking for a new trailer and was set on a LoadMax, have had 2 of them and luv them. But, just saw an ad for a diamond C that's also made in Texas, wondering if anyone has any experience with them.....OK, great, or excellent?

thanks in advance....!

Me neither. Just got a bid of 12.5K for what I'm looking at, though?! Ouch, I'll stay with LoadMax for around 9K. Read one bad review on the net, but strangely the writer later changed it and said the company "made it right".....hmmmm.

I looked at a Diamond C tilt equipment trailer a couple years ago. I liked it a lot but didn't buy it at the time. The dealer went out of business and to this day I wish I would have bought it. I was impressed with it's design and build quality for the price. I liked it better than anything I've seen since in its price range and would certainly recommend it.

I've had a Fleetneck built by Diamond C for about 10 years now. It's a 28' dual tandem dovetail with 12,000# axles. No problems with the trailer. I sandblasted and painted it 2 years ago and replaced the floor. I checked out other trailer manufacturers and the Diamond C was finished out better than the others. If I ever get another trailer it will probably be a Diamond C.

the fleetneck by diamond c is a very good built trailer. i have had my 25 ft dual tandem since 2000 & been very satisfied.better built also makes a good trailer for the money. i have a 42 ft fifth wheel model 1 bought new in 93. as good as it was the day i brought it home from the factory. excellent customer service too.

Heres a link about my Diamond C experience

Good or bad seems to boil down to your opinion on the finishing quality you expect for a new D.C. trailer.

I havent really overworked it, but it has performed well aside from needing to remove the dovetail handle during a low vehical recovery.

Good comparison with the load max too. It was my second pick, and I know I would have been more satisfied with the Load Max dealers service.
