I am considering buying a Deere 4720 with 400X loader. All movements seem to be tight except when tilting the bucket down it will not stop immediately when you bring the control stick back to dead center. Instead, it tends to come to a slow stop, moving another few inches.

Is this a matter of adjustment? An easy fix or more involved?

Thanks for any input. Hydrualics is an area where I have little to no knowledge.

the loader cables are sticking I think.

You can check to see if the cable is sticking by unhooking the cable and pulling or pushing the spool and see if the spool returns to neutral, and the buck stops moving.

Thanks for the replies. I'll check the cables.
