Loader Hydraulis not working

Next Problem. On to my non working loader hydraulics. I assume that there is air in the system when I cracked the tractor in half to fix throwout and fingers. Now that I have bled out the fuel system, how do I get the air out of the hydraulic system?

Open center system (fluid flows constantly unless controls are diverting to a cylinder), so just make sure it has proper amount of fluid and let it run to purge air. If you already have and it still doesn't work, then check to be sure you put the connections back properly.

Edit - Check the connections first. If the fluid doesn't have a place to go, then damage can happen to the pump or lines before it dead-heads unless there is a relief somewhere on the "new" circuit design.

KPArk: Your saying that the pump will suck the air out of the pickup tube and eventually will be able to suck up the oil from the sump?

Most pumps will purge air some have a bleed screw. I have no idea on your tractor. Does power steering function?

Ok spoke to Tim at Farm Boys and had to bleed the bango fitting on the right side of the seat. Main line out of the sump. Thx Tim
