Load Max Gooseneck Trailers - VIN Plate

Anyone know where the VIN Plate is likely to be found on a 2007 Load Max Gooseneck trailer? I foolishly bought one on auction and they claim the VIN is illegible. Worst part is I just have this feeling that when I drive the three hours to pick it up I'm going to get stopped on my way home. I can't even seem to find the manufacturers site online to ask questions of... the risk of going auction..

Most gooseneck trailers have them on the uprights on the neck.

Ask for a copy of the title from the auction. Then contact Load Trail.

Like Gee Ray said, contact Load Trail. Even if the plate has been scraped off the VIN may be stamped in several locations.

Auction house claims they have no title and auctioned it as such

They should give you a Bill Of Sale.

It was on the uprights.. but had a bunch of filth and paint on it.. however with a good android phone I was able to get a good enough shot of it to suss out the VIN!

They did, but it had no VIN as they were unable to read it.. having found it, I'll be sneding them the info on how I did so they are better educated for the future.
