lk3054 PTO HP

I'm confused. I look at the HP rating on the 3054 and it shows 30.5 engine, then shows 23 PTO hp on the specs from the web site and from 2 different brochures from a dealer. That seems like a lot of loss.

Heres a clip from the Kiotitractor.com about the lk3054 PTO

"High percentage power delivery to PTO LK3054 delivers almost 90% of engine gross power to the PTO. It feels like it’s stronger than 35HP tractor. The engine is equipped with a splined crankshaft for use as a front PTO"

It should be around 27hp to the PTO if that statement is true....

I'm trying to decide on which tractor to get. This or a Century 2028. Both are used. The Kioti comes with a bunch of stuff. The Century comes with nothing but the C50 loader.

I don't know the answer to your question and never really realized that. I put an email in to Kioti Service. I'll let you know what they say.

If you check out the website now they have changed it and reworded it. They now say 90% of the engines net HP. They also show the PTO HP being 24.5.
