First time poster.

Does anyone know the actual list price for a L39 and does that include the loader bucket or is that extra?

Thanks

Wady, welcome to the forum. Not sure what the exact list is but I believe it is something close to 35K. Most of us on here with L39’s have paid between 32 and 35K. Prices do vary depending on region with the NE getting the higher prices for some reason. The loader bucket is standard and the 18” backhoe bucket is considered standard.

MarkV thanks for the information.
I am trying to complete a deal for a L39 which includes trading L3710/BL4590 BH. But the numbers don't quite add up for the list price I am recieving.
The dealers list price is 38k for the machine without a loader bucket or backhoe bucket.
72" Loader bucket - 945
18" Backhoe bucket - 690
Loader Third Funtion Valve - 746
Rear Remotes - 1134
Pallet Forks 48"- 1455
Rear lights - 135

Total - 43,105
List seems a little high but maybe I'm dreaming

Wady, wow, he wants 38k for the tractor and then wants to add more for the loader and backhoe buckets? There is a sale on track shoes at Sears that may help you run away faster. That would be the highest price I have heard to date. I’ve also never heard of anyone paying extra for the standard buckets. The prices listed for the buckets seem about right. I put a skid steer bucket on my loader and was credited 1K for the Kubota bucket. The hydraulic options sound about right from what others have posted. My Bush Hog forks were 900 so I would say the forks are high.

My L39 was bought in Georgia in September of 2005. I paid right at 32K which included the buckets and work lights. Me thinks you should look around a bit more. Maybe the problem is working the deal with a trade. Have you considered selling the old tractor on your own. That new of Kubota with backhoe would move real fast around here.

I am curious as to what part of the country you are in? Good luck with your deal.

WADY:

If you live in the New England area, it appears that the Kubota prices are the highest. As MarkV posted, that is a dealers dream deal.

I bought my L-39 in May2005 w/ 0% financing. I paid $35,500.00 including both buckets and rear work lights. This was $2000-$3000 more than the southern members of TBN. I bought the initial unit delivered to my dealer during the high demand new product time period. As such, you pay the most when you buy the first.

This link is the L-39 list pricing: http://www.dot.state.mn.us/equipment/contracts/tr_cpt_utl____shrt version/k ldr lndscpr.pdf

Please note that you must add up all the option costs, tire choice, loader bucket, backhoe bucket, assembly and freight costs to the dealer. Read the order instructions carefully to cover all the associated costs.

I paid 10% off list price for my L-39, but some TBN'ers have paid 20%-25% off list price. Shop around some more before you pay that price.
I now have 250 hrs on my L-39, and am still amazed at the ability of this machine.

Good Luck:

Here's what one advertiser on TBN has on his website under "New Equipment Specials This Week":

L 39TLB,4wd,39hp,R-4 tires, loader,qa 72" ldr bucket,backhoe,24"bh bucket,4post ROPS.. $30,950.
Seems like it might be worth it for you to have it shipped to wherever you live (unless you're in NZ or Australia ;) ).

That is certainly a great deal on a new L-39!

As hard as it is to not look back once you buy something, where was that price in May 2005????? Not in New England, and probably still not up here now....

To save $4500.00 + taxes, that would be very tempting to a cheapskate CT. yankee like myself. I might even had drove down there and picked it up myself.

That price is what some dealers are asking for the new much smaller B-26 TLB!!!

That's a STEAL!!!
