I have a Lincoln migpak 140 and while I was welding today I touched the tip of the gun to my project. After this happened I would get no current and no wire feed but the fan stayed on.
I figured I had tripped the overload/duty cycle but after 1/2 hour it still would not work. I cleaned the tip and and checked the trigger switch in the gun but everything looked fine, checked the overload reset on the back and it had not tripped. The wire feed mechanism looked in working order. Is there an internal fuse or something simple I am overlooking?
