Lincoln 225 ac fan mount???

I have the Lincoln 225 ac welder that I learned to weld on, it was my Fathers and was bought in about 1967. In the early 80's I had a ground problem in the shop and the electrician thought it was the welder and tore it to pieces. I bought a new welder and it did the same thing until I found the ground problem and fixed it. Now about 30 years later I would like to fix it if I can and use it. I have the wiring diagram and don't think I will have a problem wiring it. The problem is the back panels are missing and I don't know how the fan was mounted, anyone have some wisdom on this?
