Has anybody used lifting rings instead of hooks on their FEL? I have been thinking of hooks to put on my gc2310, But when I went to tsc they Had some lifting rings, that were good for 5000lb. They are a d-ring with a metal strap that bolts them down. I would like to see some pic or ideals of what the experienced people have done.

I welded 2 hooks to my 2310 and they have been handy. It makes working on the MMM easy. I did put a plate between the hooks and the bucket to spread out the load.

I like the bite hooks that somebody here recommended. I'm not sure if they can be purchased, If not I'll build. They allow you to place your chain in the notch and you just tip you bucket to drop your chains without having to get off your tractor.
