I have 2 kubota tractors, a b7100 and a b2710. Both were purchase used.

What I have noticed is that both have a spacer on one right side lift arm, where it is attached to the tractor; however there is no spacer on the other side.

Is this how it is supposed to be? Or am I missing spacers?

I ask because sometimes we have had trouble adjusting them so they pull the rotary mower straight and not off to the side.

Thanks!

Sorry, I'm a bit confused (or so I've been told). By spacer, do you mean the turnbuckle links (stabilizers) that control left-right position of the lift arms? Or do you mean something like a bushing on the shaft that the lift arms pivot on?

Sorry, been gone a couple of days. I'm talking about the bushing(s) on the shaft on which the lift arm pivots. You described it better than I.

In the interim I looked at a McKessicks (?) document (b7100) which showed only 1 bushing, which was on the left side of the shaft. For fun, I will try to attached that drawing

When I put the Kubota tnt on the L4240 it cam with a spacer for the hydraulic cylinder which replaced the right side link and a spacer for the top link.

Part #240? We have aB5100 - little brother to your B7100. It has had the left side bushing replaced with a bushing with a bracket welded on that acts as a lever to raise & lower the mowing deck. This is part of the mower deck assembly and uses the 3 point hitch lift action to raise & lower the mower deck. This bracket works fine for it's intended purpose, but sometimes it will get misaligned and cause the left side lift arm to raise more than the right side. But not every time. So I plan to remove it and replace it with Part #240 so position of an implement mounted on the 3pt hitch is more predictable.

Pure speculation, but I'm wondering if the mower deck and all the gear required to hook it up to your tractor got separated/sold off at some time and that bushing/bracket was part of the package?

Any chance you could post a picture? From what you are describing, it sounds like you should replace that missing part, but a photo would really help.
